ALEX BUCKLIN

Alex was born in Toronto and grew up in Greenwich, CT. After attending Brown University, where she majored in International Relations and played on the varsity soccer team, Alex worked in consulting in D.C. and New York before moving to Michigan in 2012. There, Alex joined Google's Ann Arbor office and worked in sales as a New Business Account Executive before transitioning to her current role in Global Strategy & Operations, based out of Detroit, MI.

In 2013, Alex began investing in real estate in the metro Detroit area, starting with a duplex in Ann Arbor that she and her husband renovated and "house hacked", before moving to their current home in Plymouth, MI. They now own a portfolio of nearly one dozen rental properties and are active in the local real estate investing community.

Alex has a strong passion for real estate and, due to her firsthand experience with renovations and real estate investing, is skilled in assessing properties and helping her clients find the perfect fit for their needs.

Outside of work, Alex lives in Plymouth, MI, with her husband, young daughter, and two rescue dogs. In her spare time, Alex enjoys spending time with her family, searching for their next rental property or flip, and checking out new fitness classes around town.
