DANIELLE BUSCHMANN
Danielle grew up near Frankenmuth, MI but quickly moved to Southeast Michigan upon graduation from high school. She attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and received a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Communication and English Studies in 2007. Upon graduation from the University of Michigan, Danielle started working for Google in Ann Arbor. After several moves across the country with Google, Danielle was drawn back to her midwest roots and the Google Birmingham office in 2012 when her passion for real estate really took off!
While living in the Detroit Metro Area, her and her husband's home was unexpectedly struck by lightning. This natural disaster surprisingly turned out to be their gateway into real estate investing for the two of them. Through the 10+ months it took to rehab the Royal Oak home they later realized that the lightning strike provided them with their first experience of a live-in flip. While the start to Danielle’s real estate career definitely wasn’t something she anticipated during the initial aftermath of the lightning strike disaster, she quickly learned how much she loved watching a home transform through a major rehab.
In 2015, her family moved to Plymouth where she currently resides today. After investing over $100K in transforming their primary residence into their dream home, Danielle and her husband (Craig) decided it was time to start investing in properties that they could love and transform for other people so in 2019 they purchased their first rental property. Their journey quickly escalated from there and over the course of 3 years, Danielle and Craig invested in over $2M in rental properties throughout the Plymouth community. Additionally, in 2020 Danielle became a licensed Realtor in order to better support their real estate dreams.
After 15 years at Google and numerous different roles (marketing, customer service, human resources, and advertising sales to name a few), Danielle resigned from Google to pursue her real estate career full time. She loves that her real estate license allows her to help friends and family find their dream homes, and she and Craig self-manage all of their local rental properties themselves. She truly enjoys getting to know all of their tenants on a personal level! She believes that a person’s home is at the center of their lives and a place that should bring families and friends together. She loves being even a small part of that happiness for their tenants and clients.
